DexKo Global, a global leader in highly engineered running gear technology and chassis assemblies and related components, is planning to expand the operations of AL-KO Vehicle Technology through the acquisition of BPW Fahrzeugtechnik, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BPW Bergische Achsen KG and based in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia.

On 20 December 2016, DexKo Global, through its AL-KO Vehicle Technology business, sold the Bowden Cable Division of AL-KO Vehicle Technology based in Zellberg im Zillertal and the plant in Sura Mica (Romania) to General Aerospace GmbH based in Eschbach in Baden-Württemberg (Germany), a leading supplier of high tech aerospace components, in full and with an effective date of 1 January 2017. This was another step for DexKo Global, a global leader in highly engineered trailer running gear and chassis assemblies and related components, to continue its strategic focus on its core business.

DexKo Global Inc., global leader in highly engineered trailer running gear and chassis assemblies and related components, has expanded its Australian operations, announcing the acquisition of Melbourne Trailer and Caravan Supplies (MTCS). MTCS is an Australian family-owned business and supplier of caravan and trailer axles, leaf springs and other trailer components, serving multiple market segments across Australia since 1968. It has also been the Australian distributor for the Dexter Axle product range for over 30 years.

The international caravanning industry will be meeting from 27 August to 4 September 2016 at Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Right in the middle of things: AL-KO and SAWIKO will both be presenting several new and innovative products for motorhomes, vans and caravans. Look for AL-KO and SAWIKO in hall 13 at booth C45 1-2.
